This is the basic and perhaps most used recipe to make traditional Polish Pierogi.
300 g flour. (optional 2 egg yolks and 1/2 teaspoon salt). Add 200 to 250 ml boiling water to which 30 grams of butter have been added and melted.
Mix to a smooth dough. Let rest until cool enough to work.
It will be rather moist. Let it rest at least 15 minutes.
