This Miniature Park is maintained by the Mazovian Voivodeship Miniature Park Foundation that was established in 2014. The foundation’s mound main goal is to extend and promote the knowledge of the history and culture of Warsaw and the Mazovian Region.
Miniature Warsaw is located very close to the Warsaw Old Town and Kings Castle at Krakowskie Przedmieście 66, 00-950 Warszawa. A map is below.
Buildings in the collection were selected because of their particular importance in Polish and Warsaw history. All of the original buildings were destroyed.
Two aims of the project are to show the extent of the destruction during World War II and the beauty of prewar capital of Poland.
All of the models are made in the scale 1 to 25, which is a standard for miniature parks. They are highly detailed and present faithful reproductions of the original architecture.
Some displays are supplemented by figures, trams, cars and wagons.
